TEACHING ASSISTANT

Start Date:          ASAP – Ongoing after Easter

Location:             Barrow, Lancashire 

Vida Education are currently seeking an experienced secondary teaching assistant for a school in barrow on a supply contract. 

You will be tasked with supporting the teachers and ensuring the students are fulfilling their academic potential. What you’ll need to succeed It is essential that any candidate considering this position has experience working with students with special educational needs. You will need to demonstrate an enthusiastic and caring attitude to work as you will be required to work in small groups or 1-1 with students

We are looking for a Teaching Assistant who is: 

• Able to demonstrate their previous experience working within Secondary Schools

• Passionate about working in education

• Experienced working with children on a one to one or small group basis

• Adaptable, and able to work in a challenging setting

• Interested in working in a different environment

• Committed, resilient and caring

As you are working with children, safeguarding and child welfare is paramount and an Enhanced DBS is required for the role, this can be discussed further upon application.
