Secondary Technology Teacher – September 2022 Full Time Temporary

Vida Education are looking to recruit an engaging, dedicated Teacher of Technology (Food) for a long term, full-time cover. The ‘good’ secondary school that has approached Vida is a popular secondary school in the Carlisle.

 The right candidate will be able to teach Food Technology to KS4.

The high performing secondary school is looking for a teacher who is dedicated to student’s success, well organised in terms of planning lessons and marking and can maintain professional, yet close student/teacher relationships.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Technology Teacher (food) to work in a good Secondary School and be involved in making students succeed.

The role is due to start in September for the full school year. Although it is mainly a Food Teaching role, there may be other elements of technology on the timetable.

In order to be considered for this Technology Teaching role, you will need to:

• Hold QTS or equivalent recognised UK teaching qualifications.
• Be able to teach Food Technology at a high standard to KS3 & KS4
• Have a good knowledge of current National Curriculum.
• Have high expectations for achievement and behaviour in order to reach their students full potentials.
