1:1 Nursery Teaching Assistant – Blackpool Area Full Time Permanent

We are currently looking for Teaching Assistant to work 1:1 with nursery children at a primary school in the Blackpool area. 

The children have suspected autism, global delay, non-verbal & physical disability.

Responsibilities of a 1:1 Teaching Assistant:

• Supporting the student’s with the delivery of education needs
• Supporting the student’s with emotional needs
• Sometimes theyneed manual handling support

For this role, applicants who apply will have:

• A minimum Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification (Supporting Teaching and Learning) or a minimum of 1 year’s work experience/employment as a Teaching Assistant in a school setting (you must be able to provide recent references).
• Confident communication skills and to be a motivator in the classroom (1-2-1 or small group support).
• A current Enhanced DBS that is registered with the Update Service, or you will be prepared to apply for a new DBS with us (cost applied).
