Vetting Checks

The compliance of our candidates is paramount to all at Vida Education and as a member of the REC we go above and beyond the requirements set out by the DfE guildlines on safeguarding children

These checks include:

  • Face to Face Interview
  • CV Check (covering the last 10 years employment, gaps of 3 months or more are fully explained by the candidate)
  • References covering a 5 year period
  • ID Check (Passport, Driving Licence, Original Birth Certificate)
  • Two Proofs of Address (Utility Bill, Bank Statement)
  • Proof of Right to Work in the UK (Proof of National Insurance, Work Permit)
  • Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Check & Update Service Check
  • Child Barring Checks/List 99 Check
  • Qualifications Check
  • NCTL Check for Teachers
  • Signed Rehabilitation of Offenders Declaration
  • Signed Disqualification by Association Declaration
  • Medical Checks
  • Overseas Police Check (Where applicable)
